  • Denial of coverage is overblown!

According to the Department of Health and Human Services, only 0.5% of the population would have been denied heath care coverage due to pre existing conditions prior to Obamacare. Yet the Obama administration over emphasized this factor as an important piece of the Affordable Care Act. The "pre existing denial" was mentioned in speech after speech, but no one ever cited the HHS estimates.

So we now know from rammstauffenberg that 19-50% O f those with pre-existing conditions would be with out health insurance if the ACA was not enacted in 2014. Therefore 19 to 50% of 0,5% would be with out health insurance.
