Are you concerned about robotics making U.S. jobs obsolete?

  • With robotics there is no need for humans.

With the amount of technology that is arising in todays society, there is almost no need for humans to actually be working, especially in production and engineering type jobs. Robotics make it so humans do not need to work, which is scary for todays job market and the amount of people that are unemployed.

  • No, there will always be new jobs to be learned.

Of course, robotics are already making some jobs in the United States obsolete. But, as with computers, at the same time other kinds of jobs are being created, ones we could not have imagined just a few years ago. It is probably taking away some low skilled positions, but there could be an education program that teaches folks to program and make use of the robots.
