Are you conscious of your social-economic class ?

    You should be aware of both the factors that form and inform you. You should also be aware of how people see you.

    In my case I volunteer through my church with two food banks and work with homeless, and work with offenders and exoffenders.

    To pretend I am the same (in terms of background, income and opportunities) is just a lie.

    My to 20% upbringing has given me wealth and opportunitys that some would envy.

    It also means I need help understanding the issues that my friends live with.
