I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat meat of any kind. My staples are beans, oats, nuts, soy, rice and other grains. I also eat eggs and occasionally dairy. Whenever possible, I try to incorporate a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables into my diet, as they are very nutritious.
I try to ensure that I eat properly most days of the week. I know that on the weekends I probably will eat some more unhealthy food, but I remind myself to do so only in moderation. My work eating a healthy diet during the week, along with getting plenty of exercise, makes me feel better about cheating on the weekends.
