Bal Harbor to Caracas: Should the cops involved in money laundering be punished?

  • Yes, the cops involved in money laundering be punished

Cops involved in money laundering should always be punished! Money laundering is the process by which criminals disguise the original ownership and control of the proceeds of criminal conduct by making such proceeds appear to have derived from a legitimate source. The fact that this process is criminal alone means anyone involved in it should be punished.

  • Yes, they should.

Of course they should be punished. We cannot have two different sets of laws on our country, one for citizens and one for law enforcement. If they do something wrong they should be punished, period. The police are put in a position of power over others and we should be able to trust that they will not abuse that power. If anything their punishment should be harsher.

  • Yes they should be.

Why shouldn't they be ? Any type of crime should be punished, especially those who swear to uphold justice and to protect its civilians . They should get the most harsh punishment because they are not supposeed to do wrong things , it is not right to see corrupt officers.

  • No one is above the law.

Yes they should be punished. If cops don't like the negative feedback they get from private citizens then they should stop giving us reasons to hate them. When you are an officer of the law it is your job to stop the criminals and protect the rights of the public. Once you participate in those crimes you are no longer doing your job correctly and you need to fired and disciplined in a fashion that suits the crime.
