Lasers are egregiously harmful to soldiers. When some one lasers some one else, they go straight to the other person's retina. If some thing happens to the retina, they are at risk of becoming blind permanently, and that is an extremely serious thing. Lasers on the battlefield should be banned.
No, I do not believe that battlefield lasers are egregiously harmful to soldiers. The fact is all weapons pose danger to anyone that comes into contact with them. Our soldiers are in a war zone, where danger is the most common element. Our soldiers need as much advanced weaponry as possible. If it is going to make their job easier.
