  • People Need Updates

Hospitals are often places where the family, friends and loved ones of patients, especially those who live far from the patient, need real time updates regarding the patients' status. It is essential to use cell phones to get such information to families as soon as possible. They should not be banned.

  • There is no good reason to ban cell phones in hospitals.

Cell phones do not cause harm or discomfort to those around a person. They are essential to prompt communication and people need them, especially in hospitals. It is understood that they can't be accepted everywhere, but at least in waiting areas, grounds, and lobbies. And then restricted in any other areas needed.
