Banning cell phones in cars: Do users of cell phones get better with practice?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • All you have to do is watch people who are talking on cell phones while driving.

Study after study shows that distracted driving is more dangerous then drunk driving. Even hands free units are not safe. If we want our roads to be safer we must outlaw using both cell phones and texts while driving. I can't tell you the amount of near misses I've experienced with cell phone drivers. They are a danger to themselves and others.

  • Why take the risk of harming yourself or others?

This is a ludacris question! Practice makes perfect, doesn't it? Please note the sarcasm. Texting or talking on a phone while driving is dangerous. You do not get better with practice. It only takes that one time of looking away at the wrong moment for a fatal accident to happen. It is not worth the risk of harming yourself or others.
