Bernie Sanders releases new ad: Will the ad with Simon and Garfunkle help Sanders' campaign?

  • It complements who Bernie stands for!

Bernie is in this race for the people, Hillary on the other hand is trying to make history as the first woman president and to extend the Clinton legacy, it's not about the people. She's aligned with Wall Street and lives quite the comfortable life they have afforded her! The ad complements what and who Bernie stands for and no SuperPacs.

  • It's about the people and Bernie is for the people.

  • Yes, Bernie Sanders new ad with Simon and Garfunkle will help his campaign.

Simon and Garfunkle fans very often naturally align supporters of Bernie Sanders. They tend to focus on social justice, and, in many ways, hearken back to a time when Simon and Garfunkle were at their most popular. In addition, many people who might be torn between the Democratic candidates could choose to use celebrity endorsements as a deciding factor.

  • Choosing a popular 60-70's group for campaign music is traditional.

It appears that anytime a candidate wants to run, they have to carefully choose a song that reaches the most people, has a catchy tune, and brings a smile to the face. It usually helps, too, if it has a bouncy beat. Adding the harmonies of Simon and Garfunkle might just add another layer of attractiveness to the equation.

  • Sander's campaign still pointless

Using a Simon and Garfunkle song may help Bernie Sanders' momentum slightly, but ultimately it won't aid his campaign because Hillary Clinton has too many connections and Sanders is still refusing to oust Hillary for the criminal she is. A continuing acceptance of Hillary's crimes, in my opinion, makes his entire campaign a sham. No amount of crowd-pleasing will make any difference for him until he slings mud in Hillary's direction.

  • New Bernie Sanders ad will not sway voters

I do not think that Bernie Sanders' new ad featuring Simon and Garfunkel will have a big effect on his campaign. Fans of the folk group might enjoy seeing the ad, but if they already like Sanders then they will continue to support him and if they are not a supporter, then they might enjoying listening to the ad, but it is doubtful that the inclusion of a famous folk song will sway people to vote for him.
