The sales of BMW might raise some eyebrows as the heavy car sales of the German company is found in Asia, but that is a good thing. In my opinion catering to buyers in China is like catering to buyers in the United Kingdom or the United States. If people want quality cars and have funds to purchase the BMW cars, then selling to one of the biggest economies in the world should be encouraged.
Yes.China is a huge market and deserves proper attention. I think china and Asia in general is the future market that so many companies need to pay attention to. There are so many people who want a western lifestyle in the east that it only makes since to try to cater to their styles and tastes.
Yes, it is important for car manufacturers to cater to Chinese appeal. With a population as large as China has, it would be foolish not to. China could provide a huge amount of sales to car manufacturers which in turn would turn into profit, which BMW has experienced. It would be a smart idea for the rest to follow suit.
The US is not what it once was in cars and if you have a better chance by catering to China then that is what you should do. I feel you should look at the market and see where you will sell the most and try to manifacture what those people want.
