  • We Can Be Kind

With courage to speak out against the people who oppose others, we can have social equality for everyone when we choose KIND. When turn your face away, fail to help a friend, the world grows increasingly smaller, sinched together by our negative choices. We choose kindness above hate, love above sadness.

  • If we try then obviously yes

We ourselves our responsible for this bullshit bcuz if we treat everyone equally then our children wont question and all this race and shit its all man made. Equality, its something none of us really think about but we should. This change needs to be made now. For our future generations sake, and for ours.

  • All of the No answers are utter bullshit

Any two people with the same ability should be able to do the same job. For example, there is no reason someone in a wheelchair shouldn’t be able to have any sort of executive position, however that same person would not be suited to fight fires. True equality is compromised when citizens are isolated from their true potential. Most of these isolated citizens are either financially or educationally disadvantaged. These disadvantages limit access to supportive services, educational opportunities, and eventually occupational opportunities.
I truly believe that equality could be realized under the correct circumstances. Once the governments of the world make it so that everyone has the same privileges and advantages, then will be the time for social equality. This would be achieved by the majority of people seeing everyone else no higher or lower than them, whether or not they truly are

  • Equality can exist!!!

Equality, its something none of us really think about but we should. Equality would make such a big difference in our world, less shootings, less arguments, less racial comments, less discrimination. Our world would thrive. This change needs to be made now. For our future generations sake, and for ours.

  • Equality is life

Yes, equality can exist in modern society. It can and it will. Barack Obama's second term election proves that the American people want equality and a fair chance for everyone. One day soon enough, the GOP will learn that being a President is much more than just managing the Economy. All conservatives argue about is the economic state of the nation. The monetary system. They don't realize that folks voted in this past election largely because of social and domestic issues, such as gay marriage, women equality, immigrant issues, etc.
We want change and we are currently doing what is necessary to spark that change. It is undeniable and picking up speed.

  • There can be equality.

All humans beings are as important as the next. What prevents people from recognising this is their ego. We are led to believe that certain people pose more significant in our society. Feeling like they are 'higher up' boosts their confidence, giving them the feeling of power and control. Nothing is impossible and we are more than capable as a species to create a world where everyone has equal rights.

  • Yes, equality does exist.

The topic is "can it exist" which means that not everyone has to be equal. It doesn't refer to society as a whole and instead refers to a part of society. This means that only a few people need to be equal, for equality to "exist" in society. Society doesn't need to be completely whole in terms of equality for it to exist.

  • Equality will exist once you believe it does

The power of ideas is tremendous. When people believe in something, they can achieve it. This very poll shows that people don't even believe in equality. How do you expect humans to achieve something which they don't believe in? But its possible. Equality can be achieved once you believe that it can be. This is what we have to do. Believe that it can be achieved.

People fight for equality all over the world. They want something which they don't even think it exists. Well then they don't even put in their maximum effort. These half hearted attempts to achieve equality reinforces the idea that equality does not exist and it cannot exists. You see where this is going? This has become a cycle. We need to break away from this cycle. Atleast try to. Equality can exists.

  • It has to

We may not realise this, but the whole point of our existence is to create better humans so our species and continue to thrive. If there is equality amongst us all, there is a chance of that happening in a very powerful way. If we continue to only support the rich, it'll all fall apart. I'm not sure how, but deep inside we know. We know its not right that a Filipino must leave her children to become an abused house servant on a foreign country, meanwhile someone who won the birth lottery can live in america and ponder about whether equality should exist. Wake up assholes

  • Equality in society is impossible

Equality in modern society can and will never exist. And here is the most simple reason for this. Every society has what is called a division of labor, which leads to a certain hierarchy and division of classes, which in turn is the direct cause for class struggle and conflict. And this conflict will always divide us into the powerful and the powerless. There I said it "powerful and powerless" = inequality

  • No equality cannot exist in modern society. Resources are limited and the strongest groups will always have the advantage in acquiring them.

Equality cannot exist in modern society because resources are limited. Groups with the most money and education have the advantage in retrieving the resources. People are by nature selfish and so once they acquire the resources they are not likely to share them. This means that there is an uneven distribution and a society without equality.

  • No, but inequality does not mean lack of equal opportunity.

There has never been true equality, and I highly doubt there will be- and in some respects, I hope there will never be equality. Everyone deserves an equal chance, and no one should be discriminated against for irrelevant factors, but freedom is just as important as equal opportunity, and with people making different choices and simply being different people, there will be some level of inequality between people. The short story "Harrison Bergeron" depicts a society in which true equality is sought, and I think the picture it paints has truth to it.

  • Humans instinctively create hierarchies on their own

According to scientists, We humans have come from apes/ animals. http://nypost.com/2017/08/10/prehistoric-skull-could-explain-how-apes-evolved-into-humans/
So because we have this origin, we naturally create a spotlight or hierarchies on our own. Like how apes create a strength system. The matter determining what position you get will always vary depending on the trend, and can sometimes have multiple reasons. For example, back in the day what determined where you were was you race, gender, wealth, and strength. Now, you are determined by popularity which can be determined through various ways, like kindness, what sex you are into, the clothes you wear, your appearance, and even your grades. Although it has moderately gone down throughout the years, we still will naturally cut out many people from our lives that we think are bad. Equality is something like treating the injured kid and the mean kid equally, although you probably will teat the injured kid much more nicely because you think that they deserve it more. But that is not equality. That is like mistreating a white person and treating a black person nicely because of the thousands of years of discrimination that they had against them. Just because people have become more accepting, doesn't mean people still don't look down on people or expect someone to be above them to look after them.

  • - harrison bergeron

Have you seen the short story that vonnegut wrote? Full equality would be more like oppression. Not everyone will have the same intelligence, the same amount of beauty or the same amount of strength. We'll never be truly equal. If we were, we'd be limiting and killing the potential others have.

  • No Equality Should Be Allowed

No Equality Should be allowed because if there was Equality then everyone would the exact same, not one unique person. THAT would be awful, because if God gave u a gift than shouldn't you express that gift till ur heart gives in to the Word of God because HE REIGNS!!

  • Equality does not exist
