Can the US use a nuclear weapon in Syria to vaporize the chemical weapons?

  • Should it? Absolutely no.

But is it possible? Yes. We are talking about a country that already did it in the past, so it is not impossible, even though it is unlikely, as it is very close to their ally Israel, and would affect them.
There is also the fact that doing this is highly discouraged and will have diplomatic consequences for the country doing it.

The instant the US launches a nuke, there will be backlash in the form of nuclear war. Ever since the cold war, a nuclear strike will mean a certain end to humanity. Even if no one counterattacked, the nuke would still cause many unnecessary civilian casualties. Nuclear missiles are never the answer, regardless of the scale of the conflict.
