Can the whole world have one global perspective on such issues as floods, drought, democracy, modernization, economic development, upgrading of slums, poverty eradication, etc.?
  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No, the world is diverse.

No, the world cannot have one global perspective on world issues such as democracy, economic development, and natural disasters, because the world is too diverse with too many different opinions. People throughout the world have too many different life perspectives from which they approach these issues. People will never all completely agree on what to do.

  • One size has never fit all.

It's impossible to have a global perspective on any of these things, because the world is a diverse place. Local traditions and customs shape the world views of the people who live in their places. Natural resources and economic resources are also as variable, so the will and the means to deal with these issues must, by necessity, be different as well.
