  • Cars really do more harm then good.

When looking at a broad picture for the future of the planet and by tied association, the human race, in the long run, cars create more harm then good.
The current car models seen today step outside the boundary of earths natural ability to bring equilibrium by perpetually consuming and giving nothing beneficial back to the environement.
Even if car models were to change to the use of a more renewable resource like say... Solar, that only fixes one problem associated with cars. Our environment may be cleaner but that does not change the amount of resources needed to continually manufacture and dispose of cars. Our population is growing and by association from our current economic model so will the demand of cars causing an ever increasing number of cars to be manufactured and disposed of, adding to the accumulation of very dense materials to be broken down and recycled over a long period of time.
Not to mention the social dissonance cars have on societal norms. Human connection is innate in our evolution. Something which has decline greatly over the past several decades. Of course, there are a multitude of things that play a role in the social disconnection we are experiencing, but given that the streets were once a place for high social connectivity before the car was introduced and transformed our way of transportation, cars do play a role in it as well.
Cars also continue to perpetuate the structural set up of society; allowing permission for the construct of certain buildings and ammenities to be built over a very wide span of space... Forcing the use of cars.
The public transportation system has also been choked out due to the individual car... Where it was once thriving back before the individual car was marked and readily available to most people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, public transportation has dwindled to something quite pathetic...However, it is starting to come back... But is not nearly as good as it could be. But people used to ambulate the streets, setting the stage for a very socially stimulate experience with a variety of different people. Something you don't get anymore on your way to where ever your going.
One thing good about the car I see is that it's convienent...But if wanted... We could come up with an alternative that is just as or nearly as convenient as a personal car. It's possible.

  • Making electric cars doesn't mean it stops car accedents.

Cars cause a lot of accedents.1.3million peoples die in one year by car accedents. We need to stop using cars for our future generations. Cars produce many bad gases duchy as carbon dioxide, methane, BTU's and many others. It also kills peoples by car accedent. We need to be careful with cars for our future generations.

  • Cars at such a high usage rate do more harm than good.

The use of automobiles is much more harmful than good. It would be much more rational to have an extensive public tranportation system to move people going to the same place within the same bus or train. Think of all the costs associated with changing tires, changing fluids, car repairs, car accidents, drunk driving deaths, insurance costs, etc. All that would virtually disappear if we could rely on public transportation over cars.

  • How Do You Plan To Go Places

Without a car, where will you work, next door? Cars are the best way to go places, people need them to go further than 2 blocks. A long time ago people had to stay in the same town for the whole life because they had to use horses to go places.

My car doesn't cause global warming by itself, so it should not be held responsible for something (assuming that global warming is exellerated by humans) that the collective produces. My neighbor's car also doesn't cause global warming by itself, neither does any car. Therefore, driving a car does not harm the planet. If anything, EVERYone driving a car may harm the planet. But it would violate individual rights to stop a certain number of people from using cars.

The benefits of cars far triumphs the harm.

  • Cars aren't environmentally friendly. There will be more traffic jams, etc Not much people need luxuries!

Surely you would agree that cars are just a mode of transport, but did you know how harmful they are for us, our community and our environment!

First of all, cars are not environmentally friendly. Instead we can catch the bus more people can travell, more environmentally friendly!

We do not need to suffer with traffic jams, fi we can find an alternative to cars: buses, trains or bikes!

Lastly who would want a luxury any way? SURELY you CAN live without one, cant you?

Over all, it is undoubtedly true that cars do more harm than goou. Say NO to cars!!!

  • Cars Are Not Our Enemy

To say that cars do more harm than good is to overstate the issue of burning fossil fuels. In reality, cars are beneficial in hundreds of ways for our everyday lives. They shouldn't be banned or eliminated by any means. People should focus upon more efficient cars, but there's nothing wrong with vehicles that transport people or goods.
