## It would make kids work harder.

We should be paid because we work so hard every year to get good grades. It will encourage kids to get good grades and work harder. I feel that if we did get paid, many kids would not be skipping school and would actually want to come to school. I am debating this topic because I would come to school way more!

## Students should get paid for good grades

Students would be influenced to work hard, therefore getting a better education witch will help you in college and late on. They can also have fun while learning in the process because they are being motivated to learn students are more likely to have a better education. Paying students for good grades is a great idea

Posted by: dtdmminecraft## I think students should get paid for good grades.

I think this because kids and students will work harder to succeed in school and it would make parents happy because they see that there kids are succeeding in school and when they get paid they can buy what they want for themselves so then parents wont have to worry about having to pay for stuff they want there kids can buy it themselves.

## Students work hard

Students work hard and so do adults so if adults get money for good work so should students and it will make the student work harder if there is a reward so give if them the rewards they will work harder to be rewarded and if the adults can have good payment for wok kids can too

## Duhhhhhhhh of course

Student's work very hard. It's like a job and you get paid on a job. Plus they could get a better education maybe even get into collage. Which means they will have a brighter future. If you care for kid's education & your a teacher or principal, PAY THEM! Please.

## Mine money money

Money is gooooood! If we work hard we deserve it! Students are being trained to go out into the work force where they will be payed for what they do, why should it be any different in high school. It will act like a training for their future careers. I am all for it!

## Students want money and will do anything for it!

Look, everyone likes money, and they'll do anything for it. Money will motivate them to work harder. When you say money, It doesn't mean it has to be $500 or anything, even a $5 is money, or maybe a $0.50.

Giving them money may sometimes just be a little appreciation for them.## YES, students should get paid for good grades.

Parents work. Students work. Only one of us gets paid for it. Parents already had their chance to do well in school and now its our turn. Getting paid will motivate and encourage students to do well. Students also do 40% higher on their grades when paid for them. Not just students but kids in general always want something, and if they get paid they can save up for what they want. In conclusion, students should get paid for their grades.

## No. You pros fail to realize what school is about.

School is about responsibility and teaching those who are willing and able to pass to do so and teach those who do not want to pass to have average capabilities. What does it say about a school that gives money to their students in order to convince them to have better grades? Desperate. What does it say about a child who gets money in return for good grades? That they are not focused on what they should be focused on in school.

Posted by: CharlottePrynne## No and because

If students get paid for good grades , they would take school as a way to earn money!

Of course it will help them focus. But on money not school! They will develop a bad habit. When they grow up, they will want to get paid for the ways the do for a living. Who will pay them then?## No They Should Not

Students should not be paid for good grades. Doing well in school is expected and cash rewards should not be given for something you're expected to do. Schools do a great job of recognizing students who do well, so there is no need to pay kids who do well in class.

Posted by: MichaelKnight1## No, students should not be paid for good grades.

Students should be paid for the work they put in and that doesn't always add up to good marks. Some kids can study all day, practice and try while other kids put in little simply because the work comes easy to them. It's wrong not to reward those children who may struggle but still work hard, at least, in the same way.

## Students will believe they will get rewarded for everything they do.

This is not the case. Some tasks that need to be done won't necessarily have a reward. If students are taught that getting good grades and working hard results in money, they will assume they will get paid for all good things they do. This can create false presumptions, and it's just not a good idea to go there.

## I think that kids should not get payed to get good scores on a test or get good grades

No i don´t think that kids should get payed to get good grades because some kids could be in a situation where they cant pay their kids for good grades because they could not even have a house. Some kids can´t do well in school because there might be something that their worried about outside of school and it´s causing then to do bad or no matter how hard they try they can not do the work to get straight a´s .

## Many bad things can come from this

Some students can't preform well in school regardless of the effort they put into it while the students who are fast natural learners have it coming easy to them. It can also have students open up more to bribing and cheating to get the money. The goal would be on their mind more than the content they're learning about.

## Should students get paid in school??????????

They thought that mybe the money might make a differance, but it did not. Kids get paid for good behaiver not bad behaiver. My position is that students should not be paid in school. Students should be only be rewared for true achievment not for simply showing up for school or taking a test. Some students have their minds on the money in stead of school work and home work or classwork.

When people thought that students get paid in school would modivate the students, the results were may have met or have not met what they (reaschers, scienticts, ect.) thought. This is what Olivia.Baddoninnes said: “Plus, you never know when they could be cheating off someone's papers and tests and they could be getting paid for someone else's work.” This means that they (the kids or students) could cause theyto have finance problems and lie about that they did it by themselfs. “But, while it might re-ignite kids’ motivation in the short term, we need to reinforce their intrinisc motivation to see lasting reults,” Weller says. After 4 years, officles saw no improvement and cancled the program. This means that the officials cancled it cause their was no improvement.## Gfggfggfgg rgf fg gf

## They'll do anything for that money.

If you started getting paid to get good grades, wouldn't you start doing anything to get those good grades? I know I would. I'd probably start cheating, paying off the teachers to give me good grades, or getting some nerd to do my homework for me. In such a case, students would simply learn how to properly cheat --- not how to properly learn.
