There is nothing wrong with going to a strip club every now and again. It is a form of entertainment, even though it pushes equality way far back. He was out for a night of entertainment in the way he saw fit. That's not something that means he deserves to be shot.
While I don't personally think strip clubs are a great thing for society, they are undeniably legal and legitimate. Because of this, I don't think Cleanthony Early should be chastised for visiting a strip club. If more details emerge that he was engaged in illegal activity, I think that changes the story completely. But he should not be castigated for being involved in a completely legal (if not seedy) activity.
There are certain things that come with being visible in terms of being a public figure. Early should have been careful about these things. Sure, it's his private business where he goes and what he chooses to do, but he can't really blame the circumstances if he chooses to partake.
Strip clubs are a place notorious for mischief to take place. Anyone who goes to one is asking for trouble and Cleanthony Early is no different. You hear reports all the time on the news of people getting shot outside of strip clubs. Most patrons there have had too much to drink and perhaps abused other substances that it's just asking for trouble when you're there.
