Cookies on government websites: Should governments use "cookies" to track visitor movements on their websites?

  • Yes as most site do.

    As in toady's world most sites use cookies to track their clients travel throughout their site so the Government should be allowed to as well, as long as they add the disclaimer that every other site has to. It is not an extreme invasion and as long as you know it is there it is not illegal for companies to do so.

    Government should use all the Internet gadgets and widgets that is available to the everyday Internet user. In fact, the government should have the same privileges as the Internet user because the usage is for the national defense and other important government matters. Cookies as trackers are government tools, also.
