Corporate personhood is a concept invented by corporations to further their profit motive intentions. It works perfectly fine in that context because it is designed to further that goal. So to separate the profit motive from the concept of corporate personhood is impossible, and understanding that is crucial to the whole concept.
Corporate personhood can work with profit interest because profit is the basis and the focus of a corporation. Corporations are for profit organization and are not charitable based. Therefore, when one mention the word, "corporation" the understanding is that the next term wld be in the context of making profits.
