Countries should ban the import of goods produced by child labor: Is education (in a developing country) more useful than a job?

  • Yes, because education is a valuable commodity in those countries.

Yes, an education is more important than a job in a developing country, because education in a developing country is a scarce resource. With so few people in these countries having an education, the people who have an education are highly employable. A person who educates himself or herself will be more employable for higher wages in the future.

  • Money is More Useful

In many countries and societies, families depend on the money their children make to by food and literally sustain themselves. In those countries, the difference between life and death for many of those families can be less than a dollar. Sustenance is much more important than education in those scenarios.
