Dallas Cowboys D-line: Should the Cowboys make changes to their defensive line following Sunday's game?

  • There needs to be some adjustment.

After an incredible start to the season, the Cowboys have had a couple less than spectacular games in the past few weeks. I think the coaches should definitely look into where some of the issues have been, especially with their defensive line, and make changes to elevate the team through the next couple weeks.

  • Didn't they already?

They've done some shifting since late September/ early October and made changes at middle linebacker. Also their defensive coordinators seem to be spending more time actually planning how to defend against their opponents. They may need to make more adjustments to cover the passing game, but they seem to be good against the run.

  • D-line has lots of options

The Dallas Cowboy D-line is an effective defensive line that serves the team very well. It allows for many options that can take on the offense of most any other NFL teams. The Cowboys are doing well with their defensive line and should continue with the D-line until it shows it may no longer be effective overall.

  • There is nothing broken so don't try rto fix it.

The Cowboys have one regular season game left and are clinched to win their division. So they allowed Tampa Bay to score 20 points in their last game. Who cares? Even though this comes on the heels of a 10-7 loss to the Giiants, nothing indicates their defense is weakening or that anything needs to be changed at this point in the season. It's best to leave well enough alone for now.
