  • Dhaka attackers were "Highly Educated Rich Kids" this demographic represents a new threat in the war on terror.

Dhaka attackers were "Highly Educated Rich Kids" this demographic represents a new threat in the war on terror. Over the past several years, must of the suicide bombings and terror threats have been reported to be carried out by some highly educated young Muslim people in the name of Jihad or Holy War. Hence the profile of the Dhaka attackers should not come as a surprise.

  • Dhaka attackers represents a new threat.

Previously we viewed most attackers as being on the poorer side of the scale but after this attack we have to keep all options open. When these highly educated rich kids proceeded with there attack it made us eliminate the stereotypes normally associated with crimes and make it more general.

  • A new demographic does not represent a new threat.

Demographics have already been proven not to count when it comes to terror attacks. It seems like some of the time religion doesn't matter either. A lot of the time it seems like a particular person had a particular problem with a particular group or person. Sometimes the reason cited isn't even the reason at all. No one ever really knows except for the person who committed the act.

  • No, it is not a new demographic.

The idea of a war on terror is rediculous, because it treats a number of differnt, mostly unrelated incident as if they were part of series of well coordinated attacks. Terrorists can come from any walk of life and can hold any belief as long as the belief is extreme or they are passionate.
