Did Barack Obama win the second Presidential debate?

  • Yes in fact he did.

Yes he did. Its sad that the moderator had to step in on multiple occasions, biggest of all the moment Romney brought up Fast and Furious, second biggest the terrorist attack in Libya. Both were key points that Romney had the, if you will, money shot, killing blow, on Obama, and both times this Nancy comes in and steers it away to save Obama. Absolutely embarrassing for a moderator to act in such a manner, and even though Romney SHOULD have won, he didnt. Doesnt matter that it was unfair, and quite obviously biased on many an occasion. Obama still won.

  • Obama dominated Romney

Romney's argument on immigration was awful. He is so backward and believes in self-deportation. He is opposed to the Dream Act. He is totally out of touch with people who are not multimillionaires.
Romney also lied so much. He supported the Blunt Amendment which would not allow insurance companies pay for contraceptives for women. He also does not support equal pay for equal work for women. His answers on binders was incoherent and also a lie. He did not reach out to these women. It was the women's groups who reached out to his lieutenant governor. On the Benghazi issue, he was totally fact checked by Candy Crowley. The people at Fox News are crying foul because they know Romney lost the debate so badly. At the end of the day, Romney showed that he would be just like George W. Bush in all his policies but at least George W. Bush was more merciful to Hispanic people and less extreme in his positions as was pointed out by Obama.

  • Barack dominated.

Last night's debate was so tense I could hardly take it. Several times, I thought that Barack and Mitt were going to literally drop the gloves and duke it out. I kept my own scorecard throughout the debate, and, while many questions ended up being a "draw," there wasn't a single round where Romney outshone Obama. Romney seemed confrontational, almost childish. Meanwhile, Barack (most of the time) kept his cool. His interruptions were limited in comparison to Romney's, and he seemed to show much more respect for the moderator. In summary, GO BARACK!

  • Barack!

Barack stayed calm (for the most part) while Romney was aggressive. Romney tended to talk over the moderator and was condescending at times. The "facts" he presented were untrue and not well thought through. Barack seemed less scripted and his responses were more factually based unless confrontational. I think Barack won overall.

  • Obama is Back!

Obama is an amazing orator and he showed it in the second debate. When the "binders full of women" comment came out of Romney's mouth, everyone that I was watching the debate with cringed audibly. Then as I started paying attention to women in the audience while Romney spoke about it, they seemed physically uncomfortable after hearing that. Obama also laid out a list of accomplishments he has made, while Romney again laid out a "5-point plan" that just doesn't add up!

  • Barack is back

The biggest reason why I felt that President Obama won the second Presidential debate is because he stayed on topic. President Obama answered the questions that were presented to him in a clear and intelligible manner. He stood back and let Romney stick his foot in it and then stood his ground.

  • Yes

Mainly because he had the facts to help back him up. Like the fact that under Obama unemployment is down below 8%. And the economy is better off even before the great recession. Despite the debt which he inherited from former president Bush and a congress that won't work with him.

  • Obama’s performance was accomplished and statesmanlike.

Meanwhile Romney had the demeanour of a car salesman who, when quizzed by a potential buyer on his car’s performance and specifications, dodged the question completely and, instead, bad-mouthed a rival manufacturer’s model. Furthermore, I was disgusted that Romney chose to make political capital over the terrorist attack in Libya, particularly as he completely distorted the truth in order to do so.

  • Absolutely.

The biggest resson why I felt that President Obama won the second Presidential debate is because he stayed on topic. President Obama answered the questions that were presented to him in a clear and intelligable manner. Mitt Romney presented himself as rude, self-conceided, egotistical, and mostly he left the American people questioning his true motives behind his so called "5 point plan", which he fails to unravel before he is elected President.

  • Shame to say

Yes he did. Its sad that the moderator had to step in on multiple occasions, biggest of all the moment Romney brought up Fast and Furious, second biggest the terrorist attack in Libya.
