I would go so far as to say that a greater amount of the voters who chose Johnson and Stein would have voted for Hillary than for Trump. In many of the major battleground states, the vote difference was no more than the number of votes that Johnson got. If he hadn't pulled in so many, Clinton would most certainly have won the election.
Johnson and Stein did not have enough votes to hand the election to anyone. They were no Ross Perot, put it that way. Johnson is too fringe in order to make any inroads with mainstream voters. The only thing about him that appeals to liberals is that he wants people to smoke pot. They didn't make a difference.
No, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein did not hand the vote to Trump. Trump seems to have won this election on his own. Some people say that these two individuals stole votes from Hillary, but really they were outsider candidates and those who voted for them would likely have voted for Trump as an outsider candidate.
Gary Johnson and Jill Stein did not hand the vote to Trump. The number of votes they received was minimal and had no effect on the election. What handed the vote to Trump was Hillary Clinton's pure incompetence and unfitness to lead. The people are sick of her brand of corruption and politics.
