He killed that kid. Trayvon was unarmed. He's neighborhood watch? I need a 6 state radius between me and him. Time after time he pops up in the news as a scumbag. Remember everyone that wanted to take guns off the street and fight with fists. Take a beating, everyone lives to see another day. I don't wish ill upon anyone who doesn't deserve it, but cmon he should spend the rest of his life in jail.
There was not enough evidence to convict George Zimmerman of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin. Just like OJ Simpson, the justice system failed to assert proper punishment. Zimmerman's karma was swift--since the verdict, his wife filed for divorce and he was arrested again on separate charges. Zimmerman's life will never be the same, just like Simpson's. They might have gotten away with murder, but they are shadows of the people they once were.
George Zimmerman acted to protect himself. As a neighborhood watchman, he had every right to follow Trayvon to see what he was up to. If Martin was on his way to rob a house or deal with drugs, and had been caught, then Zimmerman would have been fired for not doing his job. Trayvon, feeling like he could take down this "creepy-ass cracker", decided to jump him. Feeling that his life was threatened, George shot his attacker to death. In Texas, where i live, if anyone attacks you, there is a full right to shoot the attacker. What the problem is is that the media, controlled by the liberal government, has used this small incident to attack gun laws in the South and spread their lies about how guns are "dangerous" and should be banned, forgetting about the Second Amendment that our founding fathers wrote out and signed. George merely acted on the spur of the moment, and the only result was that one more criminal paid the price for his actions.
George Zimmerman in my belief has a lot of issues. He is currently not a very productive citizen to society. However he did not murder Trayvon Martin. An examination of all of the physical evidence and testimony would lead to the conclusion that was rendered at trial. Anyone coming to any other conclusion is only looking at what they wish the truth was.
