Did the creation of "No Child Left Behind" fix (yes) or expand (no) the problem of the racial achievement gap?

  • NCLB was terrible

    It gave more funding to the rich schools and less funding for the poor schools. It created more of a gap between the two types of schools. I don't see why people would like this program because all it does is help the rich and hurt the poor. This was a terrible idea.

  • Downing on it. To truly fix American education, we must deal with this policy.

    No Child Left Behind was a disaster No Child Left Behind further widened the gap between rich and poor and ethnic gaps in education, and most ironically, left a lot of children behind. It is a horrible policy and Obama should have abolished it instead of simply double-downing on it. To truly fix American education, we must deal with this policy.

  • It had made things worse

    We all no that this act that was put into place by President Bush has made things worse for the education system. It may have had good intentions but it has had opposite effect for the education system. It has put restrictions on things which has made things a lot harder.
