Did the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons deserve the Nobel Peace Prize?

Asked by: Dunlj
  • Yes, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

In my opinion, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons deserved the Nobel Peace Prize because their mission was and is to ensure the successful removal of weapons of mass destruction from the Syrian military. Even though it was under the guidance of the international community does not make it any less honorable and noteworthy.

  • No, it is a war strter itself

Well, it should not get a Noble Peace prize, but it should definitely be praised. No noble peace prize because it will probably use force and war to enforce it's policies. Most countries will not let go of their weapons, they will put up a resistance and fight for their right to bear arms.
