It is a picture of a rifle it can't directly harm anyone. If a person was using it somehow to threaten another person getting rid of the emoji wouldn't stop them they would find another way. If someone is worried about it promoting gun violence then we should take away video games and history books of war as well. Education is the key to fighting ignorance. Ignorant people are the ones who use guns for evil intentions. If you try and hide all the violence from the world under the rug your taking away it's educational value. People learn from the horrible truths of history. We learn why gun violence and war and hate causes more suffering than good. It is up to the parents and educators to teach people why we need to treat each other with respect. Getting rid of an emoji will do nothing for gun violence.
