Do Electronic Voting Machines Store Votes Securely?

  • Yes they do

I think electronic voting machines get the job done. There may be slight errors but it is quick and more efficent than paper ballots. I think they store the vote securely and are an easier way of doing things so we should continue to use them instead of paper ballots.

  • No, anything electronic is subject to error.

If it is one thing that we have learned from the use of electronic devices, it is that they are not fool proof. They can short out or make mistakes or be misused by those in charge of them. They can be hacked. I would not trust that electronic voting machines would be more secure than any other type that is now in use.
