  • It May Vary Between Fields

    I know one of my previous jobs, I was strictly hired based on my look and appearance, well and my handwriting as well. I believe people with a good appearance or maybe better looking can advance further in the retail and fashion industries. This may be true in other fields, as well.

    Several studies have demonstrated that, all things being equal among candidates, a person who is attractive is hired before a person who is not. Some studies have also demonstrated that good looking people with fewer skills are sometimes offered jobs for which their are other less attractive but better qualified candidates.
