Yes, Irish Team Sports include enough skill acquisition in underage coaching programs, because there are many excellent coaches and assistants dedicated to the development of young players. Irish athletes are very passionate about their sports, and they do their best to pass this onto younger generations. It is a sufficient training program.
I feel they don't as there is a higher emphasis on winning from my experience and from interviewing a lot of people from different sporting backgrounds! I feel team sports do not place enough emphasis on learning skills such as kicking, catching, throwing, passing, dribbling, shooting etc. Any feedback is much appreciated!
