  • Radicals dominate Islam

According to Islam, Allah (the Arabic word for God) has many attributes: Allah is merciful, just, all-powerful, and totally immanent in the world. The unity of one, sovereign, eternal God that creates everything and has priority over all creation is an extraordinarily powerful religious focus to the Muslim believer. The radicals however, dictate.

  • Yes, radicals frame much of the religion

Religion is a lot like politics: The noisy ones control the framework. While radicals are in no way the vast majority of Muslims, they are the ones pushing the envelope and setting the rules. Like any group that wants to appear more faithful or more devout, radicalism has a certain appeal and worthiness for the masses, and if not encouraged, is still tolerated.

  • The numbers aren't there

Islam is a huge religion and the large majority of followers and
believers are not radical. There are plenty of followers of Islam who
are normal, don't want to be apart of terrorist groups, and don't want
to take their radical agenda out on anyone. Most people are very normal
    in their religion.

  • Radicals are the odd-men out of Islam

There are millions of muslims in the world, however only a handful are Radicals. It is the same in every religion, only a minority of believers have these extreme views and are determined to force them on everyone at any price. Unfortunately, it seems that Islam is dominated by Radicals because they are so vocal and so violent.
