    These sites disconnect us because it does not encourage physical contact. These sites allow you to think that you are keeping up with friends and family without you ever coming into contact with them. This false sense of security prevents people from meeting face to face as often as they used to.

  • They are places of interaction

    No I do not think it can be considered a 'disconnection' but it may take a toll on a persons physical health if one does sit down a lot but I do think essentially social networking is way of connecting to people with ease and being able create new friends which could arguably be healthy for some people.
