    Some teens are determined to excel and outperform their classmates at any expense, even at the risk of their own lives. Many teens don't realize the dangers of performance-enhancing drugs. They see popular athletes using them and decide that they can't be so bad because the drugs have had no visible negative effects. This couldn't be more untrue!

    Teens use performance enhancing drugs to increase their athletic traits while also trying to show off how good they are. I think regular pressure from school and to do better is a huge factor in it as well. Not to mention many teens have an idea that it is cool.
