Do the citizens of the United States maintain a sense of entitelement?

  • Yes, entitlement defines the current generation

I feel that Americans in general have a horrible sense of entitlement. Many people feel that they should be given things they haven't earned. This can be seen on social media, as well as news reports. I feel that people who have done nothing to earn what they are asking for should be denied the benefits they desire.

  • American Citizens Feel Entitled

American citizens certainly do feel entitled. Consider, for example, the country's immigration laws. The requirements are strict, and strict quotas are applied. The US is also one of the richest countries in the world per capita - yet every citizen constantly believes he or she deserves or is entitled to more than he or she has.
