Ottoman Empire was so conservative and it was ruled by what Quran said. After the successful of Turkish Independent War, Mustafa Kemal made a revolution in Turkey. He brought a secular system in Turkey, he gave vote rights to women, He tried to create a modern and industrialized country. Everybody was given a surname and the education was obligated for everyone by him. Turks should thank to him.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is indeed the founder of the Republic of Turkey. This is a widely undisputed and established fact. It was Atatürk that was able to free Turkey foreign occupation following World War I and who pushed for the revolutionary step of abolishing the sultanate and establishing a modern republic.
Yes, I do think that this man was the main cause of the modern republic of Turkey, and he did a lot of good for this country. He is a very smart man when it comes to government, and he knows what he is doing when he is running a country.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is the founder of the modern Republic of Turkey. This is because his genocide of the Armenians is what allowed the Turks to come into their power. To this day they deny the Genocide and live under the same kind of rule as they did before. The only thing that has changed is the diplomacy with the West.
While the modern Republic of Turkey may identify several others, by varying degrees, as founding fathers, the name Atatürk is so deserving of this distinction. In the United States, one might relate the term, founder, or founding father, to George Washington, the first President. While there were certainly other honorable persons who may share the title of "founder," this fails to negate using the term to signify Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first President of the Republic of Turkey.
Yes. I do agree that Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is the founder of the modern Republic of Turkey. They even gave him the last name Ataturk which means "father of the Turks" Not only was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk the founder of the Republic of Turkey, but he was also the Republic of Turkey's first president.
