    Yes, even though you are sitting down, looking at a computer for too long can be quite taxing. This is especially true if you doing work of some kind. After a while, the brightness of the computer screen can really wear on the eyes. If you keep trying to look at the computer, it becomes frustrating, your head can start to hurt, etc and this will all affect your emotional well-being. If you keep at it, you will feel drained both physically and emotionally.
