  • Release The Tapes

I Mean, their wasn't no point of destroying the tapes, and if they didn't destroy them, let the people see what Dylan and Eric was like. It's people out there that's just like them two, nervous to talk to a girl, not being accepted by other kids in the school, wanting to go to a party but doesn't have a lot of friends. Dylan was a loner because he was shy. He had friends, but he wanted more. If you see a random kid sitting a lot a table go over there, not meaning any random alone kid, but if people think he weird & he's getting bullied, go talk to him to make sure he's okay. Doing that would prevent school shooting.

  • Just Released The Tapes

  • Valuable information which could save lives

These tapes provide important insights into the minds of two sick teenagers. They could be incredibly valuable to researchers, psychologists - even people who study criminology and want to know more about this case. Most of all it would humanize the perpetrators. If we hate and "other" them, we fall into complacency with the belief that "no human could do this, only a MONSTER can."

  • They should be released

The basement tapes should be released already, the argument that they will lead to more similar tragedies in schools is not even justified, as it's clear that things like that have occured in the years after Columbine repeatedly, despite the fact that these tapes have been locked up. Releasing the tapes will not only give us a deeper insight in what has happened and what caused the massacre at Columbine, offering a better understanding of Eric's and Dylan's actions and aims, but it can also be used to prevent similar tragedies from happening in the future, as they will demystify the killer's profiles.

  • Enough evidence already

There has been hundreds of pages of documents pertaining Columbine already. Both Harris and Klebold's diaries are easily available online, containing their innermost thoughts and feelings, along with plans for the day. Surely, these documents and writings would've been as risky? Even families of the victims wished all the evidence was released at once in stead of little bits at a time. I think it is time to get over the fear, and release the tapes

  • Time to Humanize

Releasing the tapes would help to humanize them, and that is important if people are going to even begin to understand how and why these types of tragedies occur. Most people think of this kids as monsters, but the truth is that they were disturbed, bullied, aggressive teenagers. Thinking of them as evil, or monstrous does a disservice to the people people died because of their very human actions.

  • Could be corrupted

You never know where those tapes have been. If someone that would like them to look guilty to prove some sort of point they are easily manipulated. This would also stir up more controversy and bring up bad feelings for all the families involved. Why bring that up....Such a horrible occurrence that day. This is like having them relive this again. Why do that. Instead why wouldn't we spend energy on appreciating the children of today.

  • No because they will be removed

They will be removed and i enjoy watching them and there cute to me and I don't care what people say because they were bullied and to me they respond the way they though they should have responded and if people would have just left then alone that would never happen thank you
