Yes, I support defunding Obamacare if it's tied to a government shutdown or not. Obama was not truthful with the American people when he said that if you like your doctor you can keep it. Also, Obamacare essentially cuts down on the costs of health care by telling us that we cannot have as much of it. This is not health care. This is tyranny.
I'd be supportive of defunding Obama care in almost any situation, but especially if it is tied to a government shut down. The plan is not needed and is going to cost a lot of people a lot of money and comfort in the years to come so I would not miss it.
Obamacare puts undue financial hardship on families and invades privacy by attempting to force individuals to make healthcare decisions based on government rules. Defunding Obamacare whether it is part of a shutdown or not would be an important first step to repealing that law and allowing families the right to make their own personal and financial decisions without government interference.
The millstone of Obamacare should be released from the neck of the American populace even if this means that the government must shut down until the Democrats come to their senses. Obamacare was forced upon the American people by Congress. These same congressmen need to learn their lessons and lose their paychecks until they open their eyes, acknowledge the will of the American people, and repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Republicans need to face the facts that the Affordable Care Act is a law. Defunding it won't change that. Americans need health insurance because medical costs have risen much faster than the rate of inflation in the past 15 years. Republicans need to realize that fact as well. Defunding Obamacare isn't a wise course of action because voters will come out against the GOP if that happens.
I do not support de-funding the Affordable Health Care Act, if it is tied to a government shut down. I believe the shut down we saw last year was the result of a few conservatives attempting to de-fund the act, if they could, but they found that it did not work. This is not the proper way to repeal something and it should not work.
Obamacare should be supported regardless of whether or not it is tied to a government shutdown. This is because government shutdowns are a tactic used by the government to change the beliefs of the populous. The government is operating under a trillion dollar deficit and "shutting down" because of Obamacare would be an underhanded trick to make the ignorant believe that it is the cause of the problem.
