Do you think federal law should require prenatal medical care?

  • Yes, prenatal medical care is a must.

All unborn children deserve to be taken care of even if their parents can't afford it. They
can not make decisions for themselves and require that society does all
it can to make sure they have an equal chance to succeed in life and
that should start with prenatal care.

  • Prenatal care is a national concern

Obamacare has made the insurance field a little more level across the U.S.. This brings up standards of care. Obamacare is a federal law that establishes what is required as coverage. Prenatal care is one of those required coverages. This is necessary because a healthy pregnancy leads to a healthy child. Intervening in development issues as early as possible limits the level of care required later. Prenatal care is an investment that saves money in the future, and should be part of Obamacare

  • Yes, the law should require prenatal medical care.

I think that federal law should require prenatal medical care. I definitely think that the federal law should make sure that women are doing everything that they can to make sure their babies are healthy. But I also think that the federal government should make sure that such individuals get the care they need.

  • Should not force people

People do not like to be forced to do anything. Most people with common sense know that prenatal medical care is needed to have a healthy baby. The government could offer programs to help with this though. That way when someone goes into find out they are pregnant. They will know what their next move is. It should be only offered as an option though.
