  • Good Role Model

She is very humble. She gives to the poor and homeless. She doesn't keep all that money to herself. She doesn't do inappropriate stuff like a lot of singers. She been in a lot of relationships but people are. People make mistakes all the time with getting the wrong guy. Don't judge her just because of that.

  • She is a great role model!

Taylor swift hasn't let all this fame get ahead of her. She is very humble. She may have had many relationships with many guys but she has never let that change who she is! Taylor is always kind to her fans, you never see her yelling at her fans she is always caring for them! Every celebrity has mistakes and they should learn as Taylor Swift does. I love her so much and look up to her!

  • Yes if they want to.

They can if they want to look up on their idols. At least Taylor Swift don't show inappropriate stuffs on her music videos or etc and twerk like Nicki Minaj and sticking her tongue out as Miley Cyrus. Her songs are cheerful and bright and I think it's suitable for teenage girls to look up to her.

  • It's gotta be Taylor, or it's gonna go down in flames

Taylor Swift is a much better role model than other pop stars right now. She seems to have a professional manner where it's necessary, and she's humorous when it is appropriate. Her music lyrics may not be inspirational for young girls but as a successful woman in the music industry she can show young girls that it is possible for them to one day be part of the music industry.

  • Taylor Swift: Role Model

Taylor Swift is an inspiration to many young girls. She is wildly successful and critically acclaimed, but she has never stooped to salacious stunts to generate popularity. She writes her own songs, which are family-friendly and empowering. The only money maker she shakes is a disapproving finger at the pop star strippers that are only popular for showing skin.

  • Girls should look up to Taylor Swift, as much as they should to any pop star.

While I do not necessarily advocate children looking up to celebrities and pop stars in general, Taylor Swift is as good a role model as any in pop culture today. She has proven to be an entrepreneurial musician and businesswoman, and has managed to defy the trend of pop stars "going off the deep end".

  • Yes, girls should look up to Taylor Swift.

Pop stars obviously come under tons of public scrutiny, and no matter what they do, there are almost always some detractors who criticize them for being a poor role model for young people. While you could certainly argue that Taylor Swift's incredibly slim figure may contribute to body image issues for some girls, on the other hand her great musical success, in many ways self-crafted as herself a gifted songwriter, is a good model to look up to.

  • No offense, but she's kind of a hoe

She's been in so many relationships and when something doesn't go her way in a relationship, a song comes out of it, bashing the guy. That's sad and something no girl should strive for. Swift seems afraid to be alone and girls should not get that impression, they should be strong women who don't jump man to man to man and always runs their mouth after it ends bad.

She's not the absolute WORSE role model, but she's not a great one either

  • I dont think kids should follow her footsteps of dating so many guys,

Break up, and then make a song about it just to make the guys look bad. Esp after the recent calvin harris drama i just dont think its appropriate for her to "change" her man so quickly! If u dont love the guy dont commit girl!! This is why u should make friends ans date the guy first smh. Kids dont be like her.

  • Why would you want kids to look up to her?

In her older music, she shames girls who wear high heels and short skirts or whatever. But today, she wears next to nothing. She only sees black and white. She either loves or hates a boy. She thinks anyone who likes her crush is a terrible person who deserves nothing but to be humiliated. And in her eyes, she is perfect because she dresses in t shirts and laughs at her crush's bad jokes or whatever. Her music is full of self pity. Is that what we want the next generation to be like?

  • Ive nothing against her specifically

Im against young girls looking up to her as a role model because she doesn't do anything but act like a shiny pop-star object. Its cool for her because its her job. But girls should look up to people who have accomplished something meaningful. If their going to look up to a celebrity someone like Jennifer Lawrence or Lorde because she sing about being against materialism ect.
