Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger does have the skills and ability to get the Steelers back to the Super Bowl, however the Steeler management is going have to draft some offensive players to back him up. They need a offensive line that can protect him and some sure-handed receivers for him to throw to.
It is my opinion that Ben Roethlisberger is not capable of taking the Pittsburgh Steelers to another Super Bowl. I feel that his best years are behind him, and that the Steelers will soon look to replace him as the starting quarterback because of his declining skills and abilities. They won't get back to the Super Bowl.
Modern sports is a funny business. Fans are no longer regionally restricted to who they root for. Some fans follow certain players and disregard teams. For this reason, the focus has been removed from where all the work gets done. Any Steelers fan can tell you who Ben Roethlisberger is, what he looks like, and probably a bunch of statistics about him. What about the 2nd string offensive tackle? This is where most fans lose sight of the game and get lost in the fantasy. There may be 5 players on a team that the fans recognize. It takes at least 22 players to get to the Super Bowl. Given the right team, Ben could get to the big game, but the steelers do not have that team.
He may have one day been capable of doing so, but these days, he's completely unable to really see it through. He has not really been playing as well these past few seasons as he once was, and his conviction for sexual assault has thrown a shadow over his career.
There's no reason why Ben Roethlisberger could not lead the Steelers to another Super Bowl.He has all the ability to go as far as he wants to go.What he needs is a team that will back him up.After all football is a team sport but as long as his team mates can do their job he should go all the way.
