Heinrich Himmler was raised as a devout Catholic, and throughout his University days he remained a Catholic and had not yet fully embraced his anti Semitic views. However some time during his scholastic years he became interested in the "Jewish Question" and his political Ideas became aligned with the far right. After Joining the Nazi Party, Heinrich HImmler gravitated from his Roman Catholic upbringing, towards a following of the occult and German mythology. The beliefs that radiated from the occult religion justified the German persecution of the Jews and therefore strengthened his far right political views.
