  • Waste of time

The only reason people go to school is because it's the law, They don't even learn anything at all or focus, Kids also have to get up early, Teachers have to always get people's attention in school, Parents always have to listen to them comllain, So schools should close down

  • No, I do not think schools should have been shut down as part of the shutdown.

I absolutely do not think that schools should have been shut down during the government shutdown. I don't think anyone should have been shut down, but shutting down schools would have not benefited anyone. Teachers would have been out of their pay checks and students would not be learning. It would also cause problems for parents who needed to find day care.

  • No, schools are essential.

No, schools should not have been shut down as part of the shut down, because schools are essential to our future. To close the schools because of the shut down would be to take advantage of students, just to prove a political point. Students, and those who educate them, should not be made into a political issue.
