  • Where did you live?

This is an extremely obvious question (especially in the US) and the answer should be obvious to you: YES IT IS.

From day one the United States has been pro-corporation, pro-rich and never believed in taxing the rich... Only use the taxes from the middle/lower class to provide services to the rich (and other classes). Although this made US the "booming center" of innovation and productivity... The true faults in the United States began to show.

Our government is corrupt in every way... Even its election system is corrupt! (electoral college is obsolete and creates allot of hassle and having a couple of unknown individuals elect the president fosters corruption). Our baking system and the fed is corrupt and currently driving us off a cliff, our politicians and congress only care about the rich. Our corporations are quickly turning into monopolies and toxify the environment, and ourselves with their products (while the "leaders" turn a blind eye) corporate-funded lobbyists practically rule congress, our government attempts to control the middle east (and its oil) through set-up terrorist attacks on "home soil", puppet governments, and a ridiculous military. Its currently 16 trillion in debt and doing nothing about it, it spies on us and takes a crap (excuse my language) on the rights of the people and it currently plans in impose total martial law after the 16 trillion debt finally gets us, and a combination of consumerism, entertainment, propaganda (I mean mainstream) media, and a education system designed to brainwash us are all keeping the vast majority of North Americans naive, and stupidly loyal to a government that will only use that loyalty to make you a piece in their games.

If you think the government is not corrupt and if you don't think there needs to be a re-writing of the constitution (to help further prevent all this from happening again)

  • Heh heh heh.

That's just like asking if water is wet. Of course it's corrupt. It is the nature of government to become more, and more corrupt. It's inevitability is akin to death and taxes. It will continue to get worse, until we wind up with a totalitarian government, or a rebellion, to establish a new government.

  • Very corrupt indeed

They spend all of our tax money on useless item and luxury. They spy on us which was reveled by snowden. Think about it they are withholding so many facts. During the cold war the army wanted to go into Cuba they had an extensive plan to murder americans and blame it on Cubans so they could invade. Sound familiar? The twin towers were blamed on Iraq, then we invaded Iraq so we could get oil. It many just be a mistake but im not not sure.

  • Too much evidence to list

I could go on for days about how corrupt the Government is. If you want to know, just Google "CIA controversies". It never ends. The list goes on and on and on and on. Just look at the NSA spy scandal.

Governmental trust works both ways. We trust them, they trust us. But they don't trust us, and they still expect us to put faith into their leadership, when it has proven to be downright terrible throughout the years.

To quote Full Metal Jacket: It's a big S---t sandwich and we all are going to have to take a bite.

  • They are indeed

Look at how the world is functioning. In the news we hear the same crud that comes out of the media. We don't hear what goes on in the background. Governments make secret deals without approval, they go and turn the other way when facing issues about anything but their country. They are just bung of dirt bags. They not only spend money on military power. They also spend money on something we don't need. We don't need oil it's the sense everything is made to take oil. We could probably come up with things like more efficient to create energy or we could stop the war. It doesn't work out that way because government make poor choices for the countries. The power house countries of the 1st nation countries take everything for themselves and leave waste just because it's cheaper. I do indeed think the government are corrupt is the worst way possible.

  • This is america

What are you people saying? We are americans! We should be proud of this! We need to have faith in the government that established this great, free land! I cant believe you unpatriotic people have no faith in our country! You should all move away if you dont trust america!

  • I say no

Our corporations are quickly turning into monopolies and toxify the environment, and ourselves with their products (while the "leaders" turn a blind eye) corporate-funded lobbyists practically rule congress, our government attempts to control the middle east (and its oil) through set-up terrorist attacks on "home soil", puppet governments, and a ridiculous military.
