  • It's part of the game

The NFL makes a lot of money on football and should fund studies about the player's outcomes and health care for concussions. It is a tough sport that the players are aware of when they start, but the league should do what they can to protect them from this injury. It is part of the game.

  • NFL needs to take further actions to help prevent concussions

The NFL needs to work more on keeping the players safe. One way to do this would be to fund concussion studies. With how many players receive concussions each season, the funding of studies could help develop better helmets and long-term treatments to keep players healthy. I think that professional organizations as a whole (NFL and NHL) should team together since players of both sports get too many concussions and fund these studies.

  • Yes, they most Definitely Shoud

There is more then ample proof that concussions suffered while playing in the NFL have had long term dire effects including brain damage. It's beyond time that the NFL did right by their players and started to look into the concussions and head injury suffered by players. If they insist on keeping the game as it is with tackling than they need to do right by those playing for them.

  • Yes they should

The NFL covered up concussions for far to long and now they should help fund concussion studies. They need to make up for past mistakes and they need to help protect their players. Concussions are very serious and we need more studies to help combat the issue. The NFL has an obligation to do this.
