I believe anyone who is sincerely trying to raise a child or children is extremely brave. There is no instruction manual on how to raise children and every child is different. The decisions parents have to make will alter the future for their children for better or for worse. There are many forms of bravery but I feel raising a child the right way is one of the bravest ways to live.
I'm not brave whatsoever. If I was brave, I would have joined the armed services to serve my country in a time of war. Bravery is subjective, but when it comes down to it, I have no idea what exactly bravery means in a civilian sense because I rarely have exhibited bravery in my own life.
