Does a person who works for the government have more rights than a person who works for a private employer?

  • Less when you think about it.

The Private Sector can get away with a lot of things that the Government can't... You think the Government can get away with a lot, but they can't... When the Private Sector is discovered, most people are only mildly upset, but riots form over the Government doing bad things.... An Employee can't get a raise without annoying everyone (for good reason too) or anything.

  • People Should Have Equal Rights

No a person working for the government does not have more rights than anyone else. It may seem at times that they have more rights because the government may pay better or give more vacation. If you view the government as any other private company though you will see pay scales and vacations amounts vary in every company.
