Although I am not an expert on Buddhism, I am pretty sure that it would accept same-sex behavior. This is because it seems to be very accepting of other beliefs in general. I am pretty sure Buddhism is based on acceptance, non-judgment, and taking things as they are. So yes, I think it would accept same-sex behavior.
Buddhist teachings do not specifically prohibit homosexuality. It is entirely dependent on the teacher, much like Christianity. If your chosen sect of Buddhism allows homosexuality it is simply a different interpretation of the same basic religious doctrine. I have never heard of any Buddhist teachings that specifically preach one way or the other.
