  • I will support it is benefecial

If the child goes to work and work in society they can get the general know ledge more than that we get in the school and if their family not able to work they can get to their family needs by working as a child labour and they can get physical strenth when they work

  • Child labor is a good thing society needs.

Child labor is a sensitive subject with a negative outlook on our society. On the flip side, child labor helps children learn how to develop life skills, build up a strong worth ethic, and are more grateful with what they get in life. Child laborers can bring money to the family as well as enable kid’s gets to learn a trade that can be of used later on in life. Child labor in a way makes a child responsible. Child Labor gives children boldness and makes independent as regards the issues of life, it also helps developing the children’s mental and psychological ability.

  • Kids make money

Kids will always want money and this is a way they can do it. There should be a law saying that at certain ages you can work at certain places. Like if your 9 at a library or if your 13 at a barber shop or at a movie theater.

  • Child labor is not ethical, but it does help us

Child labor helps us economically and their families as well, but while doing so, the children face a lot of consequences. I believe that child labor is morally wrong and I am strongly against children working in terrible conditions. It’s not fair for the children to work when they are at a young age, and receive very little wages. However the question simply asks if it helps us, and I think it does as long as the children get enough money to feed their families. This way, the children’s families would be satisfied and so would we.

  • Child Labor does Help US

Child Labor is a very bad thing and it is illegal everywhere, but the question asked is does child labor help us? Yes it does help us because it brings down the prices of the goods, therefor the people are happier. Though we forgot about the Child's happiness, which is very important.

  • It doesn't help us :(

Child Labor is a practice that is very common amongst large companies that mass produce for it minimises expenses and maximises profit. It is very harmful to the children and it takes away their childhood and it deplenishes their health. It's even illegal. Without child labor, more jobs would be available for the increasing adult population. Many adults are unemployed, and instead of making young children work till they die these adults can take their place and bring in an income. It may cost the company more money, but it will be better for the world if child labor is exterminated. "us", in this case, refers to the world population. Child Labor takes away adult job opportunities and harms children, therefore it doesn't help "us".

  • Horrible, but helpful

First off, child labor is a horrendous practice, but say it has no benefits would just be a lie. Child labor allows for cheaper goods, which raises everyone's standard of living, except that of the child. It also provides desperately needed money to very poor families, however child labor is by no means a long term sustainable solution to poverty.

  • Child Labor Does Help Us

Child labor does help us, but it has to be under a set of conditions. If the Child is in no danger of getting majorly injured, the child is getting a decent pay, the age of the child is set in mind when the job is assigned, then yea it does help us. There are tons of children around the world who are suffering because of money and food and if this gives them the opportunity to get the money needed and help the community, then there is no problem

  • Child labour does help us.

Yes, child labour does help us, but that does not mean it is okay. Many children are forced to work, surrounded by hazardous conditions. Often the pay they earn do not compensate for the work they do. If a child worked in a safe environment, with decent pay, and got an education, then may be child labour would be acceptable.

  • How could it?

    Just think about it...
Child labour deprives children from getting an education and destroys there mind set both physically and mentally.
If they can't get an education, they can't pursue a career.
    Society needs working people.
    Society needs educators.
Child labour is dragging down humanity.
These poor children aren't even given a fair chance to help the world.

  • Child labour should be banned

A very large amount of the 218 million child labourers in this world is caused by poverty. I believe that there was one very cruel, but smart person that realized that it is easy to manipulate children to work for you for a smaller price than an adult would pay. Others must have learned this “trick” because nowadays people will decide to employ children rather than adults, because they don’t have to pay as much. It is for this reason and this reason only, that families under poverty have to depend on their children to keep them alive. Not just banning, but enforcing these laws onto all these child labourers in a way where they can’t work for their families, many of these children’s families will perish from malnutrition because of the fact that they can’t pay for food or water.
But then there is the part where we look at the children’s point of view. The children don’t just want to work, they want to learn to read and write, to go to school like the rest of us and to be happy with their lives. Banning child labour might just help them to achieve that goal. By stopping child for long enough, people will just give up on it and leave at employing adults. The parents will get jobs easier, and they will be able to survive.
Yet when enforcing the banning of child labour, we are back to the beginning as there will be a period of time where some children will have to stop working, but not everyone will give up on employing children. During that period of time, adults will still find it hard to get employed because they still believe in kids, but so will children because of the law enforced.

  • Child labor does NOT help us

Some people are saying that it teaches kids to earn money and to work for what they want, but because this normally happens in 3rd world countries, the kids are just trying to buy a little food for their families. A lot of the time, kids aren't even paid at all. They're basically slaves and because of this, they don't get as good of a chance at a good future which is unfair.

  • Child Labor should end.

Child labor kills over a hundred children every month when they could grow up with a future. Why is it fair if some children are given a chance to pick their future when some cannot? Sure it gives education and a bigger chance of surviving than without a job but it kills many.

  • Child labor doesn't help us

Child labor prevents many children from going to school, and it also harms them due to the working conditions that they are forced to work in. Most children who work, are forced to work and would rather go to school and get an education instead, but don't have that privilege. Instead of these kids doing these jobs, you can get trained men to do them instead, which is why it isn't helpful, because you can replace it. -Tamara

  • Child labor doesn't help us

Child labor doesn't help us and is harmful to children. Yes, it may be beneficial to families in need, but it puts children in a situation where they are unable to go to school and learn. It slows down the progression of society and future generations by preventing children from learning.

  • Child labor does not help us

In my opinion I don't believe it helps us, instead it ruins the child's chance to be able to live a life where they get to play with their friends and going to school. The kids don't get an education, however they do get paid, but barely any money. As a replacement of kids working it, makes more sense to have adults take those jobs because it is more reasonable for an adult to support the family rather than a child.

  • Child Labour Lead to Little Or No Time For Education

Child labour may have its economic benifits, but it creates a generation of working class kids who will never be anything else than working class adults. To send a child to work as an adult would gives them only one career choice and deprives them of the education they are entitled to. In a nation where free education is provided by the state, regadless of the quality of said education, that education is compulsory as it should be because it gives the child a chance to be somethng more than what his/her parents were.

  • Child labor=child illiteracy

Child labor helps us in the short term, in a very unethical cruel way. It doesn't not help us in the long term, however. Children who labor all day don't get a chance to go to school and get an education. This creates a population--generation even-- of uneducated people who cannot advance in society, even if they wanted to.
