Does home-based entertainment create a lonely society?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • On the contrary

Home entertainment goes hand in hand with a society that is more connected to a central network; while its true that interaction with people in person is different than interaction virtually, said gap is narrowing, and there is nothing to say that in the near future the gap won't be non existent.

  • Home-based entertainment does not create a lonely society

I do not believe that home-based entertainment creates a lonely society. Home-based entertainment is not that different from going to a movie theater, for example. You can go by yourself and not talk to anyone, or you can go with a group of friends. Home based entertainment is the same way, you can watch a movie or play a game alone, of you can have some friends over. There is little difference.
